West Plains returning Power Substation to service following 2017 Flood
West Plains, Mo. – On Saturday, November 20, a fire at the Lincoln Street Electric Substation led to an approximately three-hour power outage across the City of West Plains. Public Works Director Jeff Hanshaw said the City's insurance provider is expected in town this week to investigate the incident. "Once we know what our insurance reimbursement looks likes we will start making plans to rebuild the substation," Hanshaw added.
